2011 Arnot-Roberts Old Vine White Compagni-Portis Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley (8/27/2013)Lovely wine for a late summer meal. There's a kaleidescope of aromas and flavors, covering greens, yellows and oranges. I found a grassiness dominated early, but air and a little warmer serving temp brought out riper fruit that moved to peach and then more tropical tones. Quite good as a food wine as well, as it does not overpower.

It's a blend. I hear that it has Sylvaner and Gewürztraminer. Don't recall what else.
