Niels Verburg is a very talented winemaker and quite a character.
Some here may recall that two years ago, his son was shot by a disgruntled winery worker,but fortunately has made a full recovery. Niel is a respected and much loved figure locally.

Keith, thanks for the testimony! I wasn't familiar with Niels, but enjoyed the interview and particularly his comments about the Luddites. Big fella, isn't he? Or else Gary is smaller than I thought!

Niel is about 6ft 5" and big with it. His Luddite wine is very popular in the UK but the suggested price of $40 seems a bit steep.
Is it I wonder,the old American market trick of upping the price or else many will think the wine is too cheap and therefore no good? :shock:
