Friuli.
Medium golden yellow color.
Spicy, slightly honeyed nose with some over-ripe fruit. With time, some sulphur started to creep into the nose as well.
Moderately thick and oily, pears, lemon and lime, spicy, with good acidity. With time, some sulphur notes started to emerge.
An impressive and classy wine from a grape that, all too often, gets no respect.
A good deal at $15.95 Canadian.
