This is a CdP in the most traditional sense. Aromas of spicy dark fruit and Asian spices. It's rustic with a certain elegance. Dark cherries, fig, black pepper form a rich, complex, and well structured palate. The finish is long and spicy.
I was worried about this bottle. I removed it from my Eurocave over three weeks ago and it remained in a room that was warmer than I liked. But I forgot it was there until the other day, and made the decision to grill some lamb chops and to drink it soon. A fantastic wine.
