WTN: 2010 Clos Du Val Petit Verdot

by Brian K Miller » Mon Jul 22, 2013 3:58 pm

This may be a brand new bottling. Typical earthy Clos Du Val character, with strong black currant fruit and very bright, gulpable acidity. Very nice...right up my alley, actually.

Also tried their varietal bottling of Sauvignon Blanc (2012). Good summer wine, with fresh acidity and a hint of New Zealandish gooseberry.

I don't think I have ever scene this. Did you get it at retail? What is the price point. Sounds nice.
