Preachin' from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. This was one of the extremely rare Ravenswood Limited Edition wines. The last btl of this wine I had, it seemed on its last legs. This btl was very/very much alive w/ still loads of fruit. The nose was really beautiful, classic old vine Zin. But it needed food to ameliorate the astringent/dried out tannins on the palate. Pretty good for a 19 yr old Zin. But then we've been told that Zins don't age.
