2011 Weingut Knauß Riesling G - Germany, Württemberg (7/10/2013)
Echoing a bottle of this that I opened a few months ago, this was a crisp, very dry, but properly balanced Riesling that worked very well as an aperitif, and with a bit of sushi afterwards. The fruit seemed more austere in this particular bottle, but sufficient to provide drinking pleasure. Maybe it's closing in a little bit, as a prior bottle was a bit lusher in its fruit expression.
