WTN: LimerickLane Zin RRV '10...(short/boring)

Tried this ystrday w/ JohnBalagna:
1. LimerickLane Zin RussianRvrVlly/SonomaCnty (14.4%; www.LimerickLaneWines.com) 2010: Dark color; very strong blackberry/RRV Zin/very spicy/boysenberry/framboise rather dusty/OV bit smokey/toasty/oak slight minty/herbal lovely nose; slightly tart very rich/lush/ripe strong blackberry/RRV Zin/boysenberry very spicy some smokey/toasty/oak bit tannic/hard flavor; very long slightly tart strong very spicy/RRV Zin/blackberry/boysenberry susty/OV light smokey/toasty/oak finish w/ some hard tannins; needs several yrs; similar in style to the SonomaCnty Zin but more structured and more spicy/classic RRV and less overt Am.oak and more dusty/OV character; resembles a bit some of the Carlisle RRV Zins but not quite as intense; a very/very good Zin for the price; seems mispriced at $26.00 (SFW&S)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. As recounted in the SonomaCnty Zin TN; this is the wine of Jake & Scot Bilbro, now the owners oof LimerickLane. The wine supposedly was in barrel when they bought the property. They finished & bttld the wine. They also do a BlockSeries Zin of 1970/1934/1910; the yrs those respective blocks were planted. Plus a HeadPruned and TrellisPruned Syrah. Not tried any of those yet.

Need to check them out again. A good of us bicycled up the road and they were very kind. Probably under the previous owners, though.
