El Dorado County Mouvedre.
This was quite delicious with Fourth of July Barbecue (wings and ribs). Definitely shows the D&G style...higher acidity, the touch of "natural wine" character which is hard to explain. But there is also lovely red plum...and plum skin...fruit and a savory core. Delicious stuff!
