Tried this last night w/ fresh strawberries & DevonshireCream:
1. LaurelGlen Cochino de Oro SonomaCnty DessertWine (14.4%; #2323 of 2880 hlf btls; Semillon/SauvBlanc) 1985: Dark gold/brown color; very intense botrytis/apricotty/peachy/honeyed some pencilly/cedary/butterscotch/creme brulee rather old Sauternes complex nose; fairly sweet strong butterscotch/creme brulee botrytis/apricotty/peachy some cedary/pencilly slight bitter flavor; very long/lingering slight bitter intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty creme brulee/caramel some pencilly/cedary/oak complex finish; not that dried out and a trace of bitterness like biting into the burnt sugar on top of creme brulee; loads of intense botrytis and the complexity of a 40-yr old Sauternes; probably noot going to get much better if any.
