Wooden wine shipping boxes

by Jon Peterson » Fri Jun 14, 2013 10:21 am

I have several wooden boxes that are in real good shape, namely Nickel & Nickel Napa Cab and Joseph Phelps Insigna; both are the six bottle size. I hate to throw them away. Is there any market for these?

Never mind - I just went onto Ebay and saw dozens of wooden boxes for sale with only a very few with just one bid.

Turn them into planter boxes for flowers or herbs. It's a very simple and classy way to show off your plants! Just make sure you drill some drainage holes in the bottom for water to escape before you fill it with dirt.
