Consumption Check: How much wine do you consume per week?

Our consumption is very modest actually - I'd guess that we average a bottle per week.

We open a bottle every day. Don't always finish it.

It takes me two days to finish a bottle. When Champagne or Riesling is involved, and thus Laura is drinking it goes faster. So the average week is 3 or 4 bottles presuming no parties/tastings.

That's our usual mode. Vinegar crock, cooking, or drain for extras. Last night I worked, had board meeting, and then a Midnight Run into city,no wine for me so Betsy didn't open a bottle alone. And obviously dinner party means we open more.

In total we average right at 5 bottles per week including what we share with others. My wife and I probably average 2 to 3 bottles a week on our own.

Taking into account dinner parties and such, I'd say that we open 3-4 bottles per week.

For the past few years, if we're at home, we open one bottle on Friday night and another on Saturday night.

According to CT, last year, about 5/week.

So far this year, a little over 6/week.

1-4 bottles depending. It swings pretty wildly. When I open wine, I tend to open some wine, if you know what I mean. I'm a beer drinker too so that takes up some of my time.

Without someone to share the wine, I open a bottle about every three days so just over two bottles a week. When I donate wine for a church fundraiser that goes up to 14-20 bottles in one evening but that's usually only twice a year. I also take maybe 6-8 bottles a year to offlines (I plan on taking four or five bottles with me to Mo'Cool.)

I open 7 bottles every week and more if we have company, unless we are eating out and then don't order any wine because we live in a wine wasteland.

It varies quite a bit depending on how much we are cooking, but I'd say generally between 2-4 bottles per week.

What exactly does "we" consume N bottles a week mean?

Is it "I open N bottles and my wife gets to drink a quarter of it"? ;)

A lot less than we used to, but we continue to enjoy wine with probably more than half our meals, sometimes making a bottle last for two nights. So, on average, now, 3-4 bottles a week, and the occasional craft beer or after-dinner glass of single-malt Scotch instead.

We average 30 bottles a month over a six month period. More things socially involve wine here in the valley.

Without consulting CellarTracker, I'd say 5 bottles a week. Once in a while, we'll have a two-bottle night, maybe a light Pinot Noir with cheese and them a full bodied wine with dinner but that does not happen too often. Liz does not like to drink anything is there's a big morning planned.

I consume a bottle+ (1 L) a week, including tasting events.
About two a week leave my "cellar".
