1934 Huët Vouvray Moelleux Le Haut-Lieu
How do you describe a nearly 80 year old wine. It feels inadequate to say that I really liked it. Perhaps respect is more appropriate. Perhaps a hope that I can be as vibrant and full of life when I am 79 years old, with years of life ahead of me. The wine has been burnished by time, acquiring a patina of bronzed honey that surrounds surprisingly lively fruit. Impressive - truly impressive.
