Ch.Curson AC: Crozes-Hermitage (MeBaC; 12.5%) Etienne et Edouard Pochon/Curson 1988: Med.color w/ some bricking; strong smokey/pungent/roasted bit ozone/burning metal/fireworks slight toasty/pungent some green olive/olive tapenade little fruit bit earthy rather classic/NR complex nose; slight tart rather smooth/velvety some smokey/pungent/roasted slight metallic/fireworks sparkler/ozone light green olive/tapenade slight peppery/Syrah rather gentle flavor w/ light/smooth tannins; med.long strong roasted/pungent/smokey/charred bit earthy/peppery some green olive/olive tapenade finish w/ soft/smooth/quiet tannins; very little fruit left but lots of NR character w/ lots of smokey character; lovely old bones.

Wow Tom, this is the first tasting note I have ever read for a 15 year old Crozes Hermitage!
