15.1% abv. Zinfandel: 89%; Petite Syrah: 11%, co-fermented. Clone selections: Zinfandel from Dupratt Vineyard; Petite Syrah from Foppiano Vineyard. 241 cases. Barrel aged for 10 months in 60-gallon French oak barrels (20% new.) Winemaker: Mark Ray. Dark fruits and woody scents predominate on the nose. Drying finish. Seems to have good blackberry/black currant fruit but is too oaky for my taste. I would hope that five years after harvest the oak would have integrated more.
