- 2005 Hug Cellars Pinot Noir - USA, California, Central Coast, San Luis Obispo County (11/12/2006)
Clearly Pinot on the nose, light ruby in color. Nice body in the mouth, good acidity, restrained fruit. Nicely balanced. Decanted about 2 hours, so some bottle time is probably fine. This is Hug's entry level Pinot; there are three, I think SVDs this year. Great QPR at about $20. (90 pts.)
