Great old album by Deep Purple.

2005 Ojai Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard Syrah Opened murkey burgandy color, took an hour too open after decanting, must have been previously filtered, Fruit juice, can feel the odd sliver, but falls short on an ending. It is drinkable etc. but does not meet the comparable to a California Pinot.
2001 Braida (Giacomo Bologna) Barbera d'Asti Bricco della Bigotta I still remember these bottles when they were young, Big, bold, fruity with a great long lived ending. Nothing that you would think of for a Barbera d'asti. Oh Well, at ten years, on its way down,It has fruit, but conservative, quiet and one dimensional. I wish I could find these to drink young though.
