This was quite a surprise. rather than fruity simplicity, there was some distinct leathery notes which support nicely the black fruit in this Bonarda/Malbec blend. Very, very enjoyable...even quite a touch of funkyness. This could easily be a Savoie or Arbouis red, except, of course, richer.
