WTN: Anakena Lilen Single Vineyard Viognier 2011

by Bruce Hayes » Sat Sep 01, 2012 10:30 am

Requínoa, Rapel Valley
A.F. Arco Iris

Light, bright yellow in the glass.

Spicy, floral, citrus fruit on the nose.

Medium weight, peach, orange, some grapefruit, juicy, spicy, good acidity, a hint of honey, rich and refreshing.

Light bitter citrus rind bite on the mouthwatering finish.

Yum. One of the best inexpensive Viogniers I have had in some time.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).

I really like all Anakena's wines, especially the single vineyard Pinot Noir at ($12.99). Great value! Thanks for the note.

Thanks for the note. My Total Wine has this. I'm a sucker for good Viognier.
Cheers, Jim
