Jenise, I've had this wine 3 times, and it has always been stunning. It does show the good side of steaminess.
Have you had the 2004 Arcadian Pisoni? That may be an outlier in terms of ripenness for Joe, though I have enjoyed some bottles.

If we ever meet, I think it should be over a bottle of Arcadian followed by, say, a Chateau Palmer.We seem to have very well-matched palates.
