Tried this last night w/ my arugula salad:
1. Lucy Rose of PinotNoir SantaLuciaHighlands (14.1%; www.LucyWines.com) SantaRosa 2011: Pale red/salmon color;
very pretty fragrant PN/cherries/spicy/Nehi cherry soda pop nose; slightly tart bright/zippy/spicy/cherry/PN/cherry soda flavor;
med.short bright/cherry/cherry soda finish; a pretty/drinkable rose but just that; life is just a bowl of cherries and so is Lucy.
$15.00 (SFW&S)

A wee BP:
1. This is a rose made by JeffPisoni, as a rose and not a saignee, in support of the breast cancer (Susan G. Komen Foundation), $1
of each btl sold is donated. It is a pretty enough wine but doesn't have the bracing acidity and austerity I like in a rose to go with food.
