WTN: Lions de Suduiraut 2009

Light gold, classic Sauternes nose. Burnt sugar, apricot, honey, peach, candied orange and grilled pineapple. Lightish but full-on Sauternes sweetness. Quite long. A very easy wine to drink. Excellent and very good value for the price. As I understand it, harvested from select plots so that a lighter wine with more acidity is produced. Certainly a very refreshing style of Sauternes. I don't think this is a second wine, rather just a different expression of Suduiraut.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
