Cabernet Sauvignon from a foothill source in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
A nice surprise...purchased blindly at the hippy grocery store in Santa Cruz. Dark, rich cassis and blackberry fruit. Prominent tannins. Good acidity. Believe it or not, went very well with roast chicken. A very "cabby" cabernet...right up my alley. Only $25!
