2010 Uriondo Bizkaiko Txakolina
70% Mune Mahatsa (Sauvignon Blanc) and 30% Txori Mahatsa (Folle Blanche); an unusual Txakolina without any Hondarribi Zuri (or Hondarribi Beltza, if you include red Txakolina).
Perhaps frizzantino. Light in weight, bone dry, lightly crisp, mineral, a bit less acidic than some Txakoli; lightly saline, with citrus notes. Good, but this vintage needs to be consumed now, as it is starting to fade.

2009 Maison Louis Jadot - Château des Jacques Moulin-à-Vent Champ de Cour
From the Clos de Champ de Cour. Medium-bodied, well balanced; more structured, as Jadot’s cru Beaujolais tend to be. Tastes of cherries and dark berries, with lightly spicy/animal notes. Very good/excellent.

2008 Maison Bouchard Père et Fils Volnay 1er Cru Caillerets "Ancienne Cuvée Carnot"
Rather meaty nose. Moderately full-bodied, elegant, well balanced, with moderate tannin; shows cherry, plum, floral, and spice notes, with a bit of oak (definitely less than in the 1996, which is the only other vintage of this I've had). Should develop nicely. Very good/excellent.

2007 Vinifera Vineyards (Tuck Beckstoffer Wines) "Niveus" Napa Valley
90% Sauvignon Blanc/10% Semillon; from the Block House Vineyard in Yountville. Peachy, lightly mineral, lightly grassy nose. Full-bodied, somewhat creamy, bone dry, fresh, well balanced, with moderate acidity. Tastes of white peaches, gooseberries, and golden plums, with grassy and mineral elements. Very good/excellent.
