Tried thiis btl that was gifted me last night:
1. Tikves Rkaciteli SpecSlctn (13%; www.Tikves.com.MK; EricSolomon) PhilippeCambie/Skopje/Kavadarci/Macedonia 2011: Light yellow color; rather stony/earthy pleasant pear/grapefruit slight floral/fragrant nose; quite tart stony/earthy tangy/grapefruit/metallic light/low-key flavor; med.short tangy/grapefruit/pear tart/stony/metallic finish; much like a simple CdRBlanc; pleasant enough white but just that.

1. Hmmmmmm...PhilippeCambie, the noted SouthernRhone producer, is now making wine in Macedonia?? The guy sure gets around. EricSolomon has a number of wines from Tikves that look interesting. Would like to try more.
