2004 Domaine des Héritiers (Louis Jadot) Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Ursules
Red fruit and emerging earthiness. A touch of herb (it is a 2004 after all) rounds out the midweight palate. Quite enjoyable, though in no way the gem better vintages of this wine can be. A good Monday night wine.

Touch of herb I like, it's the I tripped and landed face first in an herb garden in a pine forest of some '04s that gets me (and I'm not especially sensitive). Glad the Ursules worked out, generally a very solid performer

Where the green gets me I find it akin to landing in a bowl of green peppers and cilantro (both of which I do not like).
