MoCool Montrose Vertical ? (SuperBBBBBs!)

So, heard from someone who was interested in supplying a bottle of Montrose ('82!) to my possible "vertical" suggestion for the Saturday Picnic.

I'll therefore open my '66 and '70. I also have "younger" vintages I can also include, but would LOVE to hear from anyone else attending MoCool "SuperBBBBBs."

What say you?

If you know of any other attendees who may not watch WLDG, pretty please forward to them! Would love to see if we can break 10 vintages or more!

I think we're above 10 vintages if everyone brings the vintages mentioned so far (between e-mails and various posts elsewhere).

I'm hopeful that those who have seen these posts talk to their friends who are attending and perhaps we can work towards 15 or more!

Just a quick update.

'66, '70, '75, '79, '82, '89, '90, '96, '97, '00, '02, '04 appear to be the current vintages that have been offered. Generously, Dale Williams has sent the '75 for the group to enjoy, so I want to say a special thanks to Dale, who isn't able to attend. THANKS.

For clarification, I hope to start into these ASAP on Saturday, presuming bottles are in attendance (think most will be there early). I think I'll open old to young with the help of all who have a bottle in the mix. And, I also think it most fair that those who do have a bottle in the vertical should get first pour from each new wine opened, and any remaining wine is available to anyone in attendance. Yes, this will get kinda messy, but with help of those bottle owners to open/pour and cooperation in general, most ought to be able to sample at least a few vintages.

I certainly suggest if you're a bottle donator, to bring EXTRA GLASSWARE as we'll be going through wines fairly quick so we don't take up the whole afternoon!
