Tried last night w/ my pizza:
1. GregoryGraham Syrah CrimsonHillVnyd/RedHills/LakeCnty (Estate; 14.4%) LowerLake 2007: Very dark color; very strong fragrant blackberry/blueberry/boysenberry/Syrah bit peppery/earthy slight Rhonish/Cornas-like rustic quite attractive/interesting nose; fairly tart earthy/rustic bit Rhonish/Cornas strong blueberry/blackberry/Syrah some peppery/pungent/spicy light toasty/oak bit tannic/hard flavor; long spicy/peppery/blueberry/blackberry/Syrah slight charred/toasty/oak slight Rhonish/Cornas finish; still needs another 2-5 yrs; rather terroir-driven some like many ElDorado Syrahs but more fruit and less earthy character; one of the best LakeCnty Syrahs I've tried. Great pprice at $20.00
