Clare Valley
Knappstein

A blend of Riesling and Gewürztraminer.

Light yellow in the glass.

Petrol and wet stones on the nose.

Medium weight, lemon, lime, petrol, a hint of honey, spicy, good acidity, clean, a rather lean structure.

Peppery lemon rind and lime on the drying finish.

I quite enjoyed this but am unsure what role the Gewürztraminer played in the blend as it appeared to me to be simply straight on Riesling.

Purchased on sale at $9.60 (Canadian).
