2011 Willi Schaefer Graacher Domprobst Riesling Kabinett (AP#16)
Gosh this is lovely. More like old school spatlese, as it has greater richness than any kabinett had a right to prior to about 2003. That said, it's not particularly sweet, and has a drinkability that it what I look for in kabinett. It's refreshing, crisp and finishes clean, just begging for the next sip. Apple, peach, citrus, stone - it's all in there, with just a hint of trapped CO2 that makes it even more lively. The CO2 was gone by my second glass, but the refreshment value stayed high.

Yummers!
