WTN: Roussillon Old Vines

2010 Domaine Le Bout du Monde Côtes du Roussillon La Luce
As I expected based on an earlier bottle from this spring, this was a delightful on a pleasant summer night. I kept it at about cellar temp, and that made it very refreshing, while not notably muting fruit or making it harsh. There's a fascinating textural/flavor element to this wine (yes, I know, odd to combine texture & flavor) that actually reminds me of the Edmunds St. John Rocks & Gravel wines when they have some age on them. Lovely stuff that's all about fruit, herbs and earth. A blend of old vine Grenache, Carignan and Syrah by the way.

Sounds lovely. This is another estate in this region which is completely new for me. I like its name.
