WTN: 2008 Rose the Riveter

by Jim Grow » Mon Jul 23, 2012 9:51 pm

This was my prize for coming up with a name for Howie's Rose Sparkler and we had it tonight with free-run-rooster that I butchered on Sunday. It was a real joy to drink with salmon color, very tiny bubbles and lots of light Pinot Noir flavors. Thanks Howie for my gift, it was a pleasure to drink.

Congratulations Jim! You not only won the naming contest, but, I believe, you also drank the last bottle of this in existence, as my stash was depleted about a year ago. I'm glad you enjoyed it and encouraged that it held up over time. I plan on doing another Pinot Noir bubbly this year, but will try to keep the color a bit lighter.
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.
