WTN: Goats Do Roam White 2011

Fairview trust
WO Western Cape

A blend of 56% Viognier, 20% Grenache Blanc and 24% Roussanne

Bright yellow in the glass.

Floral, peach, apricot on the rich nose.

Medium weight, peach, lemon, apricot, good acidity, quite peppery, bitter citrus rind, spicy, perfumed, a hint of honey, quite sharp and bitter toward the end.

Bitter and drying citrus rind on the finish.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $12 (Canadian).

You don't include a judgement, but it sounds rather abrasive and alcoholic (thinking that would explain the bitter finish). Close?
