And a wee BloodyPulpit:
1. We tried this wine back in April...fresh off the boat. Mike's first wine. It was loads of aromatic/in-your-face fruit; quite primary in character. The wine is starting to develop more subtitles; less cheap hair oil/GWT and more spice and more Traminer-like in character. The mineral/waxy character is starting to poke thru. Old vines character??? Haven't a clue. But this is a wonderfully aromatic white that I can see developing over another 4-8 yrs...if'n I can keep my hands off the remaining 3 btls. "Shoulda bought more".
Can hardly wait to try Mike's Gruner when it comes out.
