JanetFletcher writes for the SFChron mostly on cheese. This iis one of her infrequent wine articles. Rather interesting.
SFChron:Corse Wines

All the wines are KermitLynch wines; who's a real champion of Corsican wines.

Janet is a personal friend and I'm curious if Doug accompanied her in Corsica. When we see them I'll ask. It's the first time I can remember her doing a wine article. Having dinner over the years with them I'm very aware that she is knowledgeable about wine

Well, Lou.....I have, of course, followed her from the very start!!!! :D
I usually read all her cheese articles and think she's quite a good writer. Her cheese articles often led me to believe she was wine-knowledgeable.
I've seen wine articles by her in the Chron from time to time...just not very often, though.

I was unaware of her wine articles, but I do remember when things were better for all newspapers she wrote many articles on food at the Chron besides the cheese column.. She was a chef by trade originally, in fact she worked as one at Chez Panisse. I'm sure You remember her husband Doug who before overseeing wine making in general for Terlato in NO. CA. was the winemaker at Chimney Rock. In fact it's still owned by Terlato.

Remembered Doug's name from somewhere but had to Google to get the ChimneyRock/Terlato connection.
