With the free-range/purloined apricot tart and cajeta gelato, we tried:
1. KentRasmussenWnry SauvBlanc NorthCoast LateHrvst (SaH: 35.1%; RS: 10.3%; 13%) 1993: Med.gold/brown color; very intense botrytis/peach syrup/apricotty/fruit cocktail some pencilly/cedary/oak complex nose; quite sweet honeyed/earthy intense botrytis/apricotty/peach syrup fairly tart light pencilly/oak complex flavor; very long/lingering intense peachy/apricotty/botrytis honeyed/earthy light cedary/oak complex finish; a lovely old Calif botrytis wine that should go on & on. $23.00/hlf

Haven't had that Rasmussen in years. I last had the '95 at an offline in Minneapolis with Russell Bevan. Times change.
