Light red in the glass.

Spicy, light cherry on the nose.

Light to medium weight, rich cherry and raspberry, spicy, red licorice, quite rich and intense, somewhat creamy, good acidity, refreshing. With time, the wine shut down somehwat, showing more acidity, some heat and some bitterness.

Mouthwatering finish.

Went very well with a huge appetizer plate for two.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $68 (Canadian) from a restaurat wine list.
