Will be visiting Maine, New Hampshire & Vermont later this summer. Any suggestions for wineries to visit that have open tasting rooms (not fruit wines, however)? Do not know specific route we will take so don't know if we'll be able to visit certain regions but would appreciate sugggestions.

Thanks.

Tough call in VT, NH and ME. Ct has a few and Mass even has a very good one-Westport Rivers.

I know you mentioned no fruit wines, but VT has a winery that makes a good rhubarb wine.

Maine: Cellardoor Winery, Lincolnville, ME; Winterport Winery, Winterport, ME (very nice Port in Winterport!).

Both of the Maine operations make their own brew as well.

New Hampshire: Candia Vineyards, Candia, NH; LaBelle Winery, Amherst, NH.
