This wine, the 2009 Culprit , probably my tenth or more, continues to please way beyond its price in the mid-teens. Produced by Kunde family, so says the wine shop owner but not stated on the label, is a blend of red grapes from Sonoma Co. and tastes mostly like Zinfandel with probably some Syrah and Petite Syrah tossed in too. Black in color and 15.1% abv, the wine is NOT hot at all but full of spicey brambly fruit. A joy to drink last nite with tacos!
