2010 Schloss Lieser Niederberg Helden Riesling Großes Gewächs
If I had to use one word to sum up this wine I would say: steel. Luckily I can use additional words, since while the dominant (literally) theme of this wine is its severity, there is fruit (limes, lemons) such that drinking a full glass is not painful. It does seem more of a duty than a pleasure though, so my remaining bottles will get to age for a while to see if time works any kind of developmental magic.

p.s. It seems to be appropriate that in order to post this note, I had to hit a button that said "Submit."
