WTN: 2004 Boxler Gewurztraminer

by David M. Bueker » Sat Jun 30, 2012 8:28 am

2004 Albert Boxler Gewurztraminer (Alsace)
A bit sweeter than I expected, but not so sweet that it didn't work with my shrimp in garlic sauce dinner. Lots of pineapple and spicy lychee. A little bit thick in texture, but that richness is what I want more often than not when I drink Gewurztraminer. This is still quite young, though it is drinking very well now.
