- 2009 Cecile Tremblay Bourgogne La Fontaine - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (6/15/2012)
A boring wine at first with simplistic, juicy red fruit. Let it sit in the decanter and it slowly began to wake up. Tremblay's 2009 wines have been interesting to try...their fruit is (expectedly) ripe and pure, but has this gritty minerality and mushroom tone to it that keeps the wine in balance for my tastes. This is no different. Has great mushroom undertones to it that blend well with its more dominant floral and red fruit flavors. Probably better in 3-5 years. (89 pts.)

Sounds good. Have you tried any of the higher end Tremblay wines in 2009?
