in a word, WOW.

It's one of those wines one sip makes you feel like sitting down and just exploring the countless different nuances it has to offer, with so many layers of fruit, florality, minerality, etc... and the next sip makes you just want to empty the glass given how incredibly vibrant and joyously refreshing it is.

Utterly stellar wine that conveys everything I'd look for in a Mosel Riesling and then some, and I am thrilled to have more of this. (Note to Rahsaan: The '01 is on deck for later in the week...)

Sounds great, and I can't wait for the 01.

Interestingly enough, I also had an 08 tonight, the von Racknitz Traiser Rotenfels Riesling Trocken. It was fine, correct, mineral, and not at all severe. But not at all as vibrant or joyous as your Schaefer.
