2006 Erich Salomon/Undhof Grüner Veltliner Reserve Lindberg (Kremstal)
Opened to accompany some Thai green curry. The curry was much too spicy for the wine, so most was drank on its own. This Grüner is showing a trace development, but only the barest trace. The fruit has mellowed a bit, and a creaminess has crept in around the edges. There's still plenty of fresh pea and citrus, and the acidity is lively, so the wine never seems heavy. Maybe there's a trace of heat, but that could have been the poor food match talking, as I did not notice it later. Very good.
