Dark red in the glass.
Tarry. spicy, roasted notes, peppery, with a hint of chocolate on the nose.
Medium weight, intense, black cherry, blueberry, good tangy acidity, creamy, full in the mouth.
Creamy, rich berry fruit on the fairly long finish.
With time, the tangy acidity became a bit distracting but I suspect this might settle down a tad with some short-term aging.
A very nice bottle of wine.
