2007 Puffeney Savagnin (Arbois)

At the end of a longish bicycle ride in San Francisco...what a great place to end up (and right down the street from the BART trains home) but TERROIR wine bar on Folsom at 7th.

The 2007 Puffeney Savagnin was almost like a bone dry sherry. So very, very tangy and fresh and zippy and nutty. In other words, delicious. Clear color...tangy on the nose...fantasticly strange. I really enjoy these white wines from Arbois!

I want to buy a bottle of this to see how a friend/wine bar owner would react. he is a big fan of Belgian Sour Ales, and this wine is a vinous version of a sour ale.
