WTN: Chateau Vignol Blanc 2010

by Bruce Hayes » Sat Jun 02, 2012 10:48 am

Entre-Deux-Mers
B. & D. Doublet
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc (75 per cent), Semillon (20) and Muscadelle.

Straw yellow in the glass.

Spicy, gooseberry on the nose.

Medium weight, gooseberry, lemon, grapefruit, juicy, tart acidity, viscous and rather oily in the mouth, rich and clean.

Lightly peppery, lemon and gooseberry on the long finish.

Quite good.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian) and well worth it.
