This Gruner Veltliner was on sale for $19.99. A Terry Theise Estate Selection, imported by Michael Skurnik Wine. 12.5% abv. Screwcap. Spritzig or frizzante when first poured. (Bubbles persisted into third evening--flawed wine?) Medium gold color with faint green tint; transparency. Slight ammonia smell. Tingling sensation on the palate. Viscous. I had about 3 oz. left for pre-dinner sipping on the fourth day and the bubbles were finally gone. I enjoyed the wine more with the final small pour,

Ammonia? Sounds very odd.
