Cathy Corison releases non-cabs under this Helios second label.
This Syrah comes from Stagecoach Vineyard way up on the eastern hills of Napa Valley (Soda Canyon Road) and shares a distinctively prickly, meaty, and earthy character with other Stagecoach Syrahs. Being a Corison wine, this Syrah is brighter and tangier and, to quote Otto, more-ish and is probably my favorite from the site! 2006 is the CURRENT RELEASE but the wine is no way at all "old" in character.
A must buy!
