WTN: Drinking crow

by David M. Bueker » Thu May 17, 2012 7:34 am

2004 Domaine Denis Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux Vieilles Vignes
Much better showing than my prior bottle. A hint of the green is present, but in a warm herb way, rather than an unripe green pepper element. Plenty of cherry fruit and some earthy elements just coming into play. A good though not great in any way wine.

Darn it! I thought you were giving a positive review to an SB!
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
